The first step when establishing this website was to think of a name. Now I for one was very successfully able to come up with multiple cringe titles. In that process I realized that the word does not necessarily have to come out of the English dictionary, it could simply be the first arrangement of letters that pops into my head. IFFI thence took birth. Now this word has meaning to me, but for you, it is just a random permutation of alphabets. Through this blog, I want to enable you to associate something with this word also.
I initially started this blog to post my work and so create a platform where I can showcase my writings. A sort of virtual safe space for myself. Over time, just as all things grow, IFFI grew as well and I realized that this website is bigger than me and has the potential to be an entity of its own. I introduce to you now IFFI Blog – A platform for the youth.
There are three aspects of this blog; Journal, Social Awareness, and Book Reviews. The writings will know no restrictions in regards to word limit or content. Alongside my work, I will be posting content submitted to me. May this blog aid in being a source of information or entertainment for some and a platform to raise their voice for others.
Pages
Journal
This page will mostly contain the ‘classic blog posts’. The content posted here will range from poetry to narration of stories. The objective of this is to produce wholesome and light-hearted reads along with passion pieces based on real-life experiences.
Social Awareness
Just as the name suggests this page will contain content addressing multiple social issues. The pieces posted will be research and opinion based articles. The main objective of this is to educate and thus empower. With this we hope to bring about productive change in our society. Be the CHANGE you want to see!
Book Reviews
If you like to read, this is the place to be. Regardless of what the name suggests, we will not only be reviewing books but also relate to you our interpretation of the novel and how it expanded our little universe, confined in a four walled chamber. If you ever need good book suggestions now you know where to go.
